By: Edward Helmore Helmore starts directly with a short rundown of the events and then goes into the full story using very concrete, informative diction. Helmore made it clear to not include his emotions in the article only those of the people involved in the story. He kept a direct, impartial tone which created an appeal to ethos since he made sure to maintain credibility by not mixing his emotions into those of Drivers or other commenters in the article's story. The article had a very strong appeal to pathos when including the argument that all sexual harassment is bad and that all women have experienced some form of harassment and no man should say one is worse than another. Helmore including these statements and another statement of other women who have talked out about sexual harassment and the pain and discomfort felt from that is felt through this article. This article includes all of that emotion to create a strong argument of how a man knows nothing about what a woman endures. And Helmore created this article to talk and bring to light this argument that men do not deserve a say in how women should feel about their sexual harassment. Men should be the ones to also stand up against the cruel big men and say what they do is wrong and deserve a punishment. To me, this article appeared to be a light at the end of a tunnel for women that there are other women who are fighting for justice. Helmore framed his argument by giving a brief background then talking about the main statements that created the issue, and what was the actual story after that while including exact statements from the individual that made the story happen.
